The following is a list of common fruits with one seed:

  1. Almond: The almond is a tree nut that grows in temperate climates around the world. It’s a member of the Rosaceae family and is related to peaches, apricots, cherries and plums.
  2. Apple: The apple tree is native to Central Asia, where it has been cultivated since 5000 BC. It was brought to Europe by colonists in the 16th century and then spread to North America in the 17th century.
  3. Apricot: The apricot is native to China where it has been cultivated for over 4,000 years. It’s now grown in many countries around the world including Spain and Italy.
  4. Avocado: The avocado is native to Mexico where it was cultivated as early as 7500 BC (although some sources say 6000 BC). It’s now grown in many parts of the world including California where it’s an important export crop for both the state’s economy and its agricultural sector overall (the U.S.’s largest avocado producer).
  5. Banana: Bananas are members of the Musaceae family along with plantains and abacuses (which aren’t edible). They grow on trees that can reach 30

Fruits are the sweet, fleshy, edible reproductive organs of plants. Fleshy fruits typically contain a single seed and some have multiple seeds. The seeds may be embedded in the fruit’s pulp or they may be attached to the outside of the pulp; in other fruits, the seeds develop into dry dehiscent pods. Fruits are often eaten by animals such as birds and mammals. Seeds dispersed by animals in their droppings provide an important food source for birds and mammals. Fruits make up a substantial portion of the world’s agricultural produce.

Fruits are grouped into three categories: simple fruits (such as berries), aggregate fruits (such as apples) and multiple fruits (such as bananas).

Simple fruits are derived from flowers with one ovary and no specialized floral parts for dispersal or protection; they include small berries produced by herbaceous plants such as strawberries, or larger ones produced by woody plants such as cherries. Aggregate fruits develop from a single flower having multiple stamens and carpels; examples include grapes, blackberries, raspberries and tomatoes. Multiple fruits develop from separate flowers that fuse together; these include bananas, pineapple

Olives (Cerignola Olives).

Fruit is the mature ovary of a flowering plant. It contains seeds, which develop into new fruit. In most cases, the fruit is the structure that attracts and helps to disperse the seeds.

A fruit is part of the ripened ovary of an angiosperm or gymnosperm plant, collectively known as a fruiting body. The term “fruit” is often used to refer to a fleshy seed-bearing structure in non-fruiting plants, such as corn and tomatoes, or to a non-animal food product derived from such a structure, such as olive oil, coconut milk and soy sauce. The section of a fungus that produces spores is also called a fruiting body. Fruits are usually dispersed by birds (or other frugivores), insects (or other animals) or wind (anemochory). They are often adapted for dispersal by air currents for example in echolocating bats. Fruits that float on water (hydrochory) disperse passively on water currents.

The division between fruits and vegetables has been unclear since ancient times; it was not always easy to tell whether something was a fruit or vegetable.[1]

The word “fruit” comes from Latin fructus “

Banana tree/plantains banana plants have one seed inside each fruit but it looks like two because the little bumpy projections on the outside are actually an extension of the ovary wall that has dehisced and pulled back from the rest of it leaving a space for the seed to grow. The other plantain species have several seeds in each fruit but they do not have any bumps on them so they look more like one seed than two.

  1. Grapefruit – Seeds are located in the fleshy mesocarp, which is the part of the fruit that you eat. Grapefruits have a round shape and are firm to touch. Each grapefruit is divided into 8-12 segments and has a sweet and sour taste. The pulp can be eaten raw or used in cooking.
  2. Pomegranate – Pomegranates have hundreds of seeds inside them, each surrounded by a juicy white aril (skin). The seeds are edible and bursting with vitamin C and antioxidants. The juice from pomegranates can be used as an ingredient in cocktails or mixed with water and ice to make a refreshing drink called arilsamba!

Fruits are the ripened ovaries of flowering plants. Berries and drupes are examples of fleshy fruits, while nuts and dry fruits are hard, seedy structures. Fruits are often sweet or sour, but some, such as avocado, banana, and papaya, are considered to be both sweet and savory. Fruits provide many of the nutrients necessary for human nutrition; they also contain essential vitamins, minerals and fiber. Some fruits are good sources of vitamin C while others have high amounts of potassium.

Coconut – The coconut palm tree is a member of the Arecaceae family that thrives in tropical climates. It produces an edible fruit called a coconut that has many uses in cooking and baking. There are two types of coconut: brown (common) coconuts and white (young) coconuts. Both types have a hard shell that protects the soft pulp inside. The brown coconut has a rough shell that must be cut open with a knife or other sharp object before it can be eaten; the white one has four eyes at one end that make it easier to open. Inside each type of fruit is a thin layer of gelatinous material called mesocarp
