There are so many fun ways to make slime!
Fruit-based slimes are some of the most popular because they’re so delicious, but they do have a downside: if you use real fruit, there’s always a chance you’ll end up with mold. That’s why we recommend using candy instead. Candy is just as tasty as fruit, but it won’t go bad.
You can make slime with any kind of candy, but we recommend using fruit slices candy because they come in so many different flavors. With all the different kinds of fruit slices available at your local grocery store or dollar store, it’s easy to find one that tastes great and fits your taste preferences perfectly!
Slime can be made with many different types of food, but some are better than others.
Here are some of the best fruits for slime:
-Applesauce – This is one of the best fruits for slime because it’s cheap and easy to find. You can even make it yourself by cooking apples in a crockpot!
-Pineapple – Pineapple has a lot of gelatin, which makes it perfect for slime. You can get fresh pineapples at your local grocery store or you can buy canned or frozen ones online.
-Cherries – Cherries have a lot of pectin, which makes them great for making slime. If you don’t like eating cherries, you can always buy them in the frozen section at your local grocery store.
-Watermelon – Watermelon is one of the best fruits for slime because it has lots of water in it, which helps keep your hands from getting too sticky when making slime!
Make fruit-scented slime with these easy steps:
- Take a bowl and add 1 tablespoon of baby shampoo to it.
- Add 1/2 cup of warm water, and mix well until the shampoo is dissolved in the water.
- Mix your glue with the bowl of water until it has no lumps or bumps left in it.
- Add a few drops of food coloring at this point if you want to make your slime a different color than it is now!
- Pour your glue into a Ziploc bag, seal it up tightly, and knead the bag until all of the air bubbles are gone from inside of it (this will take about 20 seconds). You’ll know that they’re gone because when you squeeze out some slime onto your hand, there won’t be any bubbles clinging to it—it’ll just spread out smoothly across your palm without any air pockets inside of it!
- Now take a plastic spoon and drop some fruit slices inside of the bag (or any other kind of candy). Seal up the bag again so that none can fall out while you’re working on making your slime!
