The first verse that mentions fruit is Chapter 2 Verse 57: “And eat of the fruit thereof when it ripe; and giveth its color; verily Allah loveth those who make themselves pure (by washing).” The verse is talking about two types of fruits: ripe dates and ripe grapes.
